In this morning’s New York Times, the Style section declared, “The Night Is Young.”

Not to be outdone, Sunday Business retorted, “In Silicon Valley, the Night Is Still Young.”

Earlier this week, a reporter for my local newspaper, The Lawrence Journal-World, published a story with this lead:

Apparently finding that approach so good, another reporter used virtually the same lead a few days later.

The copy desk joined in, using the same approach in the headline for the second story.

Spammers, too, were in the repetitious spirit this week, putting in their 2 times 2 cents on my site yesterday:

The last time I had this kind of double vision was 33 years ago, when the song below came out.
